M-WERC highlighting educational, informative, and timely events in March

One of the core objectives for M-WERC is to ensure members and colleagues are provided with numerous opportunities throughout the year to attend educational, informative, and timely events that provide participants with great networking opportunities to cultivate relationships and broaden horizons.

We already have several events scheduled for next month. Check out what M-WERC has in store for the month of March so you can attend some of these events and meet and visit with colleagues in the field.

Upcoming events:

Tuesday, March 5: WERCBench Labs Accelerator Demo Day — Presented by Northwestern Mutual. We will be showcasing the WERCBench Labs Accelerator Program at our Energy Innovation Center in Milwaukee. More here.

Tuesday, March 5: Distributed Energy/Energy Storeage Working Group Meeting.  We will be reviewing the objectives from our action plan. More here.

Thursday, March 7: Construction and Engineering Working Group (C&E WG) Meeting. C&E WG is focused on business development and networking, standards, policy and forthcoming regulations, outreach and education, and integration with the Milwaukee Better Buildings Challenge. More here.

Monday, March 18: Public Policy Committee Meeting.  The committee's scope of work includes identification, education, and dissemination of information related to local, state, regional and federal policy issues that impact the Energy, Power, and Controls industries and are of potential interest to M-WERC member companies. Tuesday, March 19: ExporTech full-day session III located in Brookfield, Wis. Is conducted by the Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership in conjunction with the WEDC. More here.

Tuesday, March 26: Industrial Energy Efficiency/Energy Water Nexus Working Group Meeting. This working group is focused on making the business case for energy efficiency. More here.

Monday, March 25: Smart Cities Technologies Working Group (SCT WG) Meeting. The SCT WG will build on a strong foundation to complete a framework / vision for the City of Milwaukee, putting on a mid-year workshop, and connecting pilot projects to demonstration sites in the city. More here.
