Our Vision is to make the Midwest Region the Leader in Energy, Power & Control

The Mid-West Energy Research Consortium is focused on the growth and economic competitiveness of the Energy, Power & Control Industry cluster across the Midwest Region; consisting of the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

M-WERC will help drive the Midwest Region and the United States to be energy independent based on usage of innovative solutions tied to energy related activities such as; generation, transmission, distribution, storage, automation, power conversion and energy efficiency / conservation.

M-WERC is actively expanding beyond Wisconsin by adding companies and expanding partnering activities in the other states within the Midwest Region that complement the academic and industry capabilities of our membership.  Industry participants who share our goals and passion for growing the EPC industry should join us in contributing to the creation of a new and better energy future for our region and our country.
